Combine Multiple HubSpot Users into One Record When Merging Duplicates

Most of the time, merging duplicates is about keeping the one best value for each property. But for HubSpot User properties that allow multiple users to be selected, like Points of Contact, Collaborators, or Account Managers, you may want to keep them all.

Insycle now supports the Combine and append all values Criteria option for HubSpot User properties that have Multiple users can be selected enabled. When you merge duplicates, the users from every record in the group are combined into a single list on your master record, so the merged record keeps the complete team.

For example, say you have three duplicate company records, and each one lists a different person in a multi-select “Point(s) of Contact” property. Instead of keeping only one person’s name, the merged company record now lists all three points of contact.

To use this, go to the Merge Duplicates module, and under 3. Merge Logic, open the Fields tab. Select your HubSpot User property as the Field Name, then choose Combine and append all values as the Criteria. The HubSpot User property must have Multiple users can be selected enabled in HubSpot. You can check this under the property’s Field type settings.
