Smarter, More Flexible CSV Matching for CRM Imports

Manually matching CSV rows to CRM records is tedious, as matches can vary by email, company, name, or location. Our new Matching Criteria feature streamlines this by allowing you to set a prioritized hierarchy of matching fields for automatic processing.

This upgrade makes CSV imports smarter, faster, and more adaptable to real-world data.

How It Works

  • New "Matching Criteria" Fields: Replaces "Identity Field" in Step 2 of the import process.
  • Multi-Criteria Matching: Set multiple rules (e.g., Email first, then Name + Company, then Name + Location).
  • Automated Matching Flow: The system attempts the first rule, and if no match is found, it proceeds to the next, continuing until a match is made or all rules have been exhausted.
  • Customizable Rule Order: Prioritize the most accurate matching criteria to improve results.

For example, you could use the following matching hierarchy for contact records:

  1. Email address
  2. First Name + Last Name + Company Name
  3. First Name + Last Name + Phone Number
